· Create Project
- Click on Start
- Select Microsoft Project
- Go to File
- Click on New
- Select Blank Project
- Click on Create
- Go to File
- Click Save as
- Re name the Project
- Select the location and click Save
- Create New Calendar
- Open Project
- Go to Project Tab(Menu Bar)
- Click on Change WorkingTime3
- Click on Create New Calendar
- Select the Calendar to Copy
- Rename the Calendar
- Click OK
- Click on Work week
- Click on Details
- Select Non-Working day
- Click on Set days to Non-working Time
- Select Working Days
- Click on Set days to the specific time
- Enter-From and to time
- Click ok
· Holiday
- Go to Project Tab(Menu Bar)
- Click on Change Working Time
- Select the Calendar
- Click on Exceptions
- Select the date from Calendar
- Enter Description o f Holiday
- Repeat the procedure to add more Holidays.
· 4 Project Information
- Go to Project Tab (Menu Bar)
- Click on Project Information
- Select Project Start Date
- Select Project Calendar
- Click OK
- To assign/display project calendar on Gantt chart
- Right click on Gantt chart.
· Project Settings
- Go to File
- Click on Display
- Select Currency
- Click on Options
- Click on Schedule
- Select Calendar Options
- Select Schedule and Scheduling Options
- Select Calculation Options.
· Create Work Breakdown Structure and Activities
- Enter Task Name
- Enter Task Duration
- Similarly add all tasks as per Scope
- To Make the Task as WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
- Select all required task below that WBS
- Go to Task (Menu Bar)
- Click on Indent Button (Alt + Shift + Right Arrow)
Follow the procedure and create all WBS and Task for your Project.
